Michael Winterbottom repeated his visit to India just to spent a day in thar school . He presented CD of the TRISHNA film to Thar school and our students Laxman and Leela. He visited the construction place of new building and promised to visit the school again when the new construction will be completed.

Thar school students and teachers worked in Award winning film TRISHNA directed by Michael Winterbottom (England, UK). Winterbottom praised Thar school as one of the best schools in India which provide world class education while launching Film TRISHNA in TORONTO film festival in Canada.

Delegation of 17 professors from teachers college Columbia, USA visited in January 2011. They organised Workshop on Mathematics teaching in middle and secondary school level in Thar school.
